Unicorn In Zion

A few things happened recently that attributes to my lack of blogging.

1. Destiny 2 launched (Add me if you're on PS4 boxmetogo)

2. I've been spending half of my time building out content for Essential (Refer to last post.)

3. Still trying to finish up the #BreatheBetterWithCS project.

4. I'm in Zion running around in a Unicorn/Pegasus onesie. Here is evidence ontop of Angels Landing.  

Tiny Camera, Grand View

​I'm spending the next couple months creating content for the Essential phone. Specifically 360 stuff, and I'm excited to get weird and creative. One thing to brag about the essential camera is that it's the smallest 4K camera on the market today. It's so tiny I barely notice it in my pocket. I've used other 360s in the past, such as the Theta and Gear 360, and they're more or less similar in quality, but the tiny form factor of the essential makes it my favorite everyday 360 camera.  (I think I'm onto something here. Everyday 360 =  the hashtag #360365) 

As of late, I've been having so fun creating these tiny planet photos. Everything you see here can be done natively on the phone. 100 percent free, and really low stress. It used to cost thousands of dollars to achieve something like this in the past. Technology is so awesome. We move forward by making technology more accessible and convenient for the consumer, and Essential is doing a really amazing job at this. Enjoy the photos :

Where Do You Put Your Patches?

I have a pretty big collection of patches now. Just not sure where to put them. Originally I wanted to put them on Bentley’s carrying bag, now I’m thinking a camo or denim jacket.  

KAWS BLUSH

Look what showed up. The Red (blush) open flayed edition of the Kaws Companion. it's bigger than I expected. Will be a cool addition to my work desk.

BENTLEY'S BIRTHDAY WEEKEND

Tomales Bay can act as a wind tunnel in the afternoon as NW wind concentrate between the two ridges. There were moments it felt like we were on natures treadmill going nowhere. I recommend going super early to avoid tough paddling conditions. Dog friendly. Would do again, but catch real fish this time.  

Yungbent turns five

Little dude isn't very little anymore . His grey hairs are starting to show. He's now 35 years old. 5 human year. Happy Birthday Bent.

Fish and Vomit lightly sounds like an ironic hipster charter company, but that's exactly what the fam and I did. We really lived the pseudo brand by throwing up while reeling in monster lingcod, sea bass & canaries.

Booking a 4am, 6 hour fishing charter was our first mistake, after a night of boozing. I wouldn't 100% blame the drinking for the induced vomiting, cause my brothers had zero sips of alcohol, and they were still curled up, pale faced in the cabin.

Shout-outs to our charter Tacklebuster. They're an incredible crew, knowledgeable, patient and helpful. They made the experience painless and never judged when I walked off to take a rail break (throw up) I would definitely hire them again because their crew is great, and they put us in the best position to outfish all the other charters that day. In total our charter caught 47 lingcods, and that's just counting lingcods.

I've met two new riding buddies. Khoi Bui and Henry Li (click on thier names to check em out.) Its cool these guys are into photography as well, they're much better than I am, and have far superior gear than I have. We all rode out to Pescadero CA. this weekend, and stopped anywhere and everywhere in between SF and Pigeon Point. Here are the photos I manage to take while distracted by all the fun.

If you're in Amed for rice terraces. Tegallalang is highly recommended. It's super close to the main city, it's not a two hour drive through pot holes and thin dirt roads, It meets all the criterias you look for in rice terraces, and to be honest, they all feel the same after you've seen one. The cool thing about Tegallang is the bamboo boat hidden up in the hills. Our friend Adi (local farmer) built it to overlook his crops. The boat should be done in a couple of weeks. Check It out. Remeber to mention HoBo hoang with the two body guards, he'll remeber (refer to last photo.)
