Hello, I'm Hoang. Baristas call me Wayne, my homies call me Wang. I'm an explorer, designer, biker, surfer, tequila connoisseur, and an amateur barber. I’m an all-around dabbler and a master of nothing. Yvon Chouinard once said “I've always thought of myself as an 80 percenter. I like to throw myself passionately into a sport or activity until I reach about an 80 percent proficiency level. To go beyond that requires an obsession that doesn't appeal to me.” I one thousand percent agree, except I get to about 30 percent proficiency. ;)

My proudest moment was starting a design studio with my brother. You can see our work here. Other than design I like to photograph and film my travels to mitigate the common work-life balance designers struggle with. This blog is the sum of the places I go, people I meet, things I’ve designed, and the moments that fuel my life.
